Negativity-Free Day

Dave Delaney

Have a nice day. Photo by kakisky I have a challenge for you. It may sound like a simple task, but you may find it more difficult than you expect. You should still do this! Your mission is to have a negativity-free day. This means you need to devote an entire day of avoiding your own personal negativity. Can you do it?

Squashing negativity for a day isn't a new idea, it's not even my idea. I was so inspired by author, David Hooper (also a friend), who wrote about it in his excellent book, The Rich Switch - The Simple 3-Step System to Turn on Instant Wealth Using the Law of Attraction (affiliate link). I highly recommend you download it now for the price of a cup of Starbucks coffee. It's a fantastic read.

We don't have to coordinate our negativity-free days, you choose the day that works best for you. Perhaps tomorrow would be good. If you wish to share your participation you can let me know by clicking the tweet below.

I love this excerpt from The Rich Switch.

"Whenever you speak negative words, take a moment to decide if they serve a positive purpose. Most often they do not. Even though you may want to express your displeasure over something or communicate to someone just how much emotional pain you are in, there is still a more peaceful and graceful way of getting your point across without using harsh, negative words."

Are you willing to take the challenge? Are you tough enough to join this mission? It starts with a smile.
